World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King
Key extras
In the upcoming expansion, players can choose their character to level 80 levels. This will happen on the continent Northrend. In addition, each player with a character higher than level 55, can start a Hero class: the Death Knight. This time being the only hero class, rumors that Blizzard will more Hero classes to the design, but this is something for later extensions. Furthermore, there are a number of new battlegrounds in which not only recover to know each other can be hacked, but buildings can be destroyed by siege weapons. There will come a new profession: inscription, intended to improve the games of players. And finally there are also some new dungeons recover. The release date has so far adopted on November 13, 2008.
New instances
There are a number of new instances announced at BlizzCon, below a preview of expected instances.
* Utgard Keep: Located in the Howling Fjord, guarded by Vrykul, a Viking-like race that fights for the Lich King.
* Grizzlemaw: Located in the capital of the Furbolgs in Grizzly Hills.
* Azjol-Nerub: The great castle of the Nerubische race.
* Icecrown: One of the larger instances. Players will now team up against "The Lich King Arthas", leader of the Scourge.
* Naxxramas: A customized version of the current Naxxramas, a 25-man raid.
Variety
The second extension will not increase the number of varieties, the Dreanei was the first extension as playable race. Unfortunately, Blizzard had no plans to expand it further. The existence of races remain so:

* Humans (Alliance)
* Night Elves (Alliance)
* Draenei (Alliance)
* Orcs (Horde)
* Tauren (Horde)
* Troll (Horde)
